If your organization would like to partner with KOI in order to further international humanitarianism and philanthropy, or benefit from KOI technologies, we warmly invite you to contact us to discuss details and prepare individual arrangements.
Collaborate — Individuals
One of the central pillars of KOI and its mission is to make humanitarianism accessible to all who yearn to make a positive difference. While donations are undoubtedly critical in supporting the work of humanitarian organizations, we understand that individual financial means far too often do not align with the ambitions of a philanthropic heart.
If you find yourself in such a situation, or otherwise wish to strengthen your impact through diversifying the nature of your contributions, we warmly invite you to connect with us so as to discuss volunteer opportunities. Under certain circumstances and in the event of a vacancy, contract or other compensated work may also be offered. Please see the following examples of ways by which interested parties may become involved, noting that additional arrangements may be made on an individual basis through contact with KOI.
Contributor
Individuals are invited to consider voluntarily contributing time and expertise in support of KOI’s mission and initiatives, that may include submission of an article or research report to be published under the Media tab, rendering of coding or engineering consultation services, graphic and other design, utilization of language and translation skills, public outreach for awareness or fundraising, and other.
Specialist Advisor
As outlined in Article VII Section 6 of the KOI Bylaws, Specialist Advisors offer unique and specialized knowledge and insight into issues important to KOI and its mission, that may consist of technical knowledge, substantial personal experience, important professional connection, or other. Specialist Advisors demonstrate a commitment to supporting KOI and its mission on a longer term basis, rather than offering one-time services, and exist in a more formal relationship of consultation to the organization. Concurrently, their expertise is solicited on a sporadic basis of necessity, and they do not hold obligations for performance as different from KOI Officers.
